Welcome to the
Handbell-L mailing list
You should join the Handbell-L mailing list if you want more information about
handbells. To join, just send mail to:
listproc@ringem.org
Use a message body (no subject needed) of:
subscribe Handbell-L Firstname Lastname
Where Firstname is your first name, and Lastname is your last name.
For example, if I wanted to subscribe I'd say:
subscribe Handbell-L Rusty Sanders
But hey, I'm already on the list. You should be too.
If you want to receive each article as they are posted
(as opposed to getting one (or more) digests a day of all the messages)
include the line:
set Handbell-L mail ack
after the subscribe line.
Handbell Mailing List Archives
These are the archives for the Handbell mailing lists on the net.
For those of you reading the list via the web pages, you should still
subscribe! You can be on the list and still have it not mail the messages
to you. Just send mail to:
listproc@ringem.org
Use a message body (no subject needed) of:
subscribe Handbell-L Firstname Lastname
set Handbell-L mail postpone
Setting your mail type to "postpone" will cause the list processing software
to not send you mail. But, you'll be able to post mail to the list. And that
way we'll be able to know just how many people are benefiting from the list!
Obviously, in the above example you should replace "Handbell-L" with whichever
list you're interested in.

This way, if you miss one, you can find it here.
-

This list is for the technical discussions of issues related to the handbell
WWW site (the site you're visiting now).
The archives of the lists from before the move over to the new list server are not
yet on-line. We're working on it, but there's *so* much to do.
Also, there is currently no way to down load an entire months worth of archive.
We'll work on addressing that problem too.
Comments are always appreciated.
Rusty Sanders,
